Today I got my paintwork back from Shelley's spray-shop. This man does one hell of a job.
The paint used was a two pack metallic, instead of the polychromatic paint which I always thought looked a bit dull and the colour a bit too light. So Chris, the painter, made up some golden beige with a bit more black in it. At first I thought it was a bit too dark when I was in his shop, but when I went outside, the paint just shone. He also fitted all the transfers before lacquering, plus he painted the edge of the number plate black and put a nice red pin stripe around the tank as well. So now I am off to the workshop to start fitting some of this nice paintwork.
